Monte Sibilla (2,173 m) is one of the most fascinating peaks of the Sibillini, linked to the legend of the Apennine Sibyl and her cave, narrated by Andrea da Barberino and Antoine de la Sale. The Grotta della Sibilla opens on the summit, now no longer accessible due to collapses. The path (E, ~4 hours round trip) starts from Montemonaco and offers exceptional views.
