Province of Fermo
Le Gole dell'Infernaccio are one of the most scenic places in the Marche region: a deep canyon carved by the Tenna river between Monte Sibilla and Monte Priora. The path (easy, ~2h round trip) runs along the river between limestone walls up to 100 meters high, wooden bridges and small waterfalls. It ends at the Hermitage of San Leonardo, built entirely by hand by Padre Pietro Lavini.
