Province of Ancona
Part of the larger Gola della Rossa and Frasassi Park, the reserve protects a system of limestone gorges carved by the Esino and Sentino rivers. It hosts over 100 bird species, including golden eagles, lanner falcons, and peregrine falcons. The trails allow visitors to explore the rock hermitages of Santa Maria infra Saxa and San Vittore alle Chiuse, with its splendid Romanesque abbey.
