A Programme to Adapt to Your Pace

    Your journey, day by day

The suggested times organise the route: confirm venue opening times. For lunch and dinner, choose among the local alternatives rather than adding them all to your schedule.

    Day 1

    Urbino
    1

    Day 1 · 10:00

Urbino, Palazzo Ducale and the centre

A day with breaks · ~2,5 km on foot

The first day belongs to Urbino: book the palace and add a second indoor visit only if you have time. The view from the fortress completes the route.

Leave your car outside the centre and check restricted traffic zones, opening times and access. The map point identifies the visit area, not the exact entrance.

    Day 2

    2

    Day 2 · 10:00

    Sant’Angelo in Vado

A day with breaks · ~2 km on foot

Explore the town at the heart of the Metauro valley and check the cultural visits available. Leave time for lunch and the landscape without committing to a long hike.

Leave your car outside the centre and check restricted traffic zones, opening times and access. The map point identifies the visit area, not the exact entrance.

    Day 3

    3

    Day 3 · 10:00

    Acqualagna and the Valley

    1 h 30 min · ~1 km on foot

A walk and a food stop introduce the day in the valley. Truffle dishes depend on the season and menu.

    Furlo
    4

    2–3 h · ~2 km on foot

Reach the gorge and follow only open, marked routes. The suggestion is a walk in accessible areas, not a high-altitude trek.

Check roads and trails with the Reserve before setting off. Do not use the scenic map marker as an exact access point.

    Day 4

    5

    Day 4 · 10:00

    Cagli: squares and history

Half day · ~2 km on foot

Spend the morning in the centre and allow time to travel to your coastal base. Indoor visits only after opening hours are confirmed.

Leave room for an extra stop.

Choose one fewer visit and one extra break. The suggested schedule leaves room: if you find an interesting event, replace a stop rather than adding it to the programme.
