Fortified village dominating the Adriatic coast from its hill, with a double medieval wall and the Marotta marina at its feet.
An ancient medieval castrum, Mondolfo was contended between the Malatesta and Della Rovere families. Its double city wall testifies to the strategic importance of the village, located overlooking the Adriatic coast. In the 16th century it experienced a period of great splendor.
Mondolfo is the guardian of the coast: from its hill, the gaze sweeps over the Adriatic to the horizon. The double city walls tell of sieges and battles, but today the village is a place of peace where you can stroll through flowery alleys enjoying the sea breeze.

From Fano to Ancona, Porto Recanati to San Benedetto: every coastal town has its own recipe. Brodetto fish stew is the culinary soul of the Marche.

One of the Renaissance's greatest geniuses was born in Federico da Montefeltro's ducal city. Following in the footsteps of Raphael.
