Senigallia's 'velvet beach' is famous for its very fine, golden and smooth sand that stretches for 14 km. The Rotonda sul mare, a Art Nouveau building from 1933 sung by Fred Bongusto, is the city's icon. Senigallia is a historic Blue Flag, capital of creative 'seafood cuisine' with two three-Michelin-starred restaurants (Uliassi, Madonnina del Pescatore). The historic center houses the Rocca Roveresca and the Palazzetto Baviera.
