Nicknamed 'the balcony of the Marche' for its panorama that stretches from Conero to Sibillini, Cingoli is an elegant village with Renaissance architecture and a thousand-year history.
Of Picene and Roman origins, Cingoli was a Roman municipium. In the Middle Ages it became a free commune and was the home of Pope Pius VIII. The historic center preserves its medieval layout intact with noble palaces and churches of great artistic value.
From its panoramic viewpoint, the gaze embraces the entire Marche landscape: the gentle hills, the Adriatic sea and the peaks of the Apennines. It is no coincidence that it is called the balcony of the Marche. It is a place where natural and architectural beauty merge in perfect harmony.

From the hill that inspired 'L'Infinito' to the lanes of Leopardi's birthplace, a literary route weaving poetry with Le Marche's landscape.

From Fano to Ancona, Porto Recanati to San Benedetto: every coastal town has its own recipe. Brodetto fish stew is the culinary soul of the Marche.

The Apennine Sibyl turned a mountain cave into one of the most enigmatic places in the medieval European imagination.
